Cycle Challenge Week – Wed July 10th

Another chance to add some miles to the club tally. A road ride from my place to Clumber Park, 9:30 for a 9:45am start. 40 miles with a café stop at Clumber or Carburton. Mostly quiet roads but a couple of urban stretches through Killamarsh (1.5 m) and the outskirts of Worksop (3m) and Killamarsh again on the way back but these stretches are usually not too busy.

NT membership not necessary when entering Clumber Park by bike.

There is an option for some riders to go further (60 miles) if they wish – we could split into two groups at Clumber

Any bike but the slicker the tyres the easier it will be!

Extra copies of OS Landranger 120 Mansfield and Worksop would be useful if you have one
