Meet in the free car park at Ford in the Moss Valley (GR:SK 402 804) for a 6-7 mile walk which should have lots of bluebells in flower and some fine views along the way. To reach the car park turn right off White Lane at Highlane (first right after The Phoenix pub), go down through Ridgeway all the way to the very bottom of the hill and, where the road turns sharp right in front of The Bridge pub, take the narrow access lane on the left by a small cottage. 11:00am start, probably best to car share if possible – sometimes space can be limited. The valley is a bit of an unknown gem for many, with lots of woodland, wildflowers and an industrial past similar to the Porter and Rivelin valleys.
