Fifteen of us started the year with this walk on a cold dry day with good views but no sign of cloudless blue sky forecast. From Cutthroat bridge we walked over the middle of Bamford Moor, and towards the south end stopped briefly at the small stone circle. A descent took us through Bole Hill Wood, then we found shelter from the wind on the path just before Dennis Knoll for a second stop. The return route into a biting NW wind followed the path under High Neb and Crow Chin, then down past grouse butts before visiting another stone circle above Hordron Edge. Thanks for the company of all who were able to join in. Marian
