Booked for Fri/Sat/Sun in motorhome.
vanda boydParticipantRuss. Thank you for noticing this discrepancy and pointing it out to us. We have a committee meeting on Mon 9th Jan so it can be discussed then.
Best wishes, Vandavanda boydParticipantTo celebrate the return of the Slide Shows I will be providing Mulled Wine on the evening (free).
I’m also looking for a couple more people to show pictures in the New Year. Please get in touch if you are willing or see me at Mike’s show on Thursday.
Cheers
Vanda.vanda boydParticipantPaul would like meat pate, turkey and Xmas pud. I would like squash and lentil soup, jalousie and cheesecake please. It all sounds delicious!
Vandavanda boydParticipantHopefully it will be with you sooner than expected as Andy Smith has the distribution list and will send it out.
Some even more exciting things than usual to look forward to!
Cheers
Paulvanda boydParticipantHi Gemma,
Think you mean 21st August, not September!!
I only checked because it seemed a very early notice.

Paul.vanda boydParticipantHi Geoff
There are a number of pairs not sold at the auction still in the clubroom. If nobody has any objections I’d be happy for them to be passed on.
Anybody opposed to this idea?
Cheers
Paul.vanda boydParticipantYes, leaving home at 9am. Unless it is absolutely pouring down in which case we’ll put a message on WhatsApp.
vanda boydParticipantWelcome all. Lovely to meet Csilla and David at last night’s clubroom opening, which went very well. They managed to find a couple of books to borrow from the library as well.
Cheers
Paul and Vanda.vanda boydParticipantThank you David.
A bottle of mulled wine has been found at home, which we will bring along and heat up tomorrow evening (from 6pm to 9pm). And a reminder that this is a chance to bring along things for the forth-coming auction too.
Vanda Boydvanda boydParticipantAs part of the clubroom opening on March 10th we will be re-running the 50th anniversary picture loop giving g all newer members some illustrations of what the CMC has been up to in the past decades.
The clubroom climbing wall guidebook is available for those up to the challenge of trying some of the more 8ntricate routes, or even the easier ones. Can you do the “No hands mantleshelf”? Or the 2 points of contact jamming crack?
In addition, the club library of both guide books and literature will be available for anybody wishing to borrow anything.
Beer and food available from the pub.
Cheers
Vanda and Paul.vanda boydParticipantAs you will have seen, the clubroom will be open next Thursday 10th from 6pm till 9pm.
This would be an ideal time to bring any items you can donate for the auction.
Cheers
Paul Gibson.vanda boydParticipantUPDATE FROM HELEN
Start at Rails Road carpark first right off the A57 after Crosspool
Time 09.30
Distance: almost 7 miles
Car park small, share cars if possible.
I will cycle thus safety in lock numbers!
A muddy, slippy path sometimes over roots.
Head stone destination with no obligation to scramble, Rivelin plunge pool on return and no obligation to plunge.
Thank you
HelenThere was a map as well but I’m too incompetent to copy it at this time of night, but you all know Rail’s Rd car park anyway. Don’t you?
Cheers
Paul.vanda boydParticipant3rd Feb sideshows now complete.
After the main event and Russ’s contribution there will be a small selection from the last (I think) CMC visit to Cornwall in 2012. Hopefully will encourage a few to join this year’s Easter Meet to the same place.
Cheers
Paul.vanda boydParticipantWe’ve now booked from Weds for 4 nights so far in motor home.
