Could you post details please Bill? Should be great in this weather
The select party (of 2) enjoyed and excellent evening ride over Houndkirk, past Fox House, up the Green Drive, under Stanage to Dennis Knoll, up the Stanage track then back on road to Ringinglow via Roper Hill. About 2 hours, followed by a welcome pint in the Norfolk Arms. Many thanks to Bill for stepping in with a route at the last minute.
I’ll be there Bill.
Excellent, see you there. Dave C
I peeled off at Parsley Hay and had a leisurely pedal on the Tissington Trail to Biggin, NCN 54 to High Peak Trail, down that to 1 mile from Middleton Top then road back to Longcliffe, Elton and Winster. 27 miles by tape on map, maybe a bit more on the ground.
I don’t have that map Mary – what’s the route?
Panic over, It was Ian and Viv’s ruby wedding anniversary this weekend, so they have been preoccupied…. Let’s give Ian a big Castle welcome on Thursday, with a good turnout for the photo competition!

I’m late in posting the report – we’re mostly back now (Jez & Tracey, David & Linda still there). We did get a few snowflakes one day on a different ridge.
I’m for Madeira next….
and, a welcome to the Castle for Jacky – hope we’ll see you on future events!
