A small turnout but a glorious summer day. “The pleasantest Thursday walk I have been on this year” insisted one participant, though we didn’t ask how many he had been on. Easy going paths led up Jarvis Clough to Stanage End and a coffee break with a pleasantly cooling breeze. Gently down then to Moscar Lodge and another rest before the party split – three up to Derwent Edge and one down to Cutthroat Bridge where we reunited.
