Meet at the roadside parking in Rowsley, on the minor road just south of the A6 near the bridge over the Derwent. It is adjacent to the recreation ground – GR 257 656.
We will meander uphill via Dove House Farm and through Sheepwalk Wood arriving at Stanton Moor. We’ll pass the cork stone and the nine ladies , returning past the quarries.
