We currently have 14 keen to join us next week. We can have a fourth leader if needed.
The walk is about 7.5 miles and passes 8 historic halls in a circumnavigation of Millthorpe.
We pass through woodland and farmland, often on very ancient tracks. The Wood Anemones are out and hopefully we will see our first Bluebells of the year. The walk should provide extensive views to N, S and East.
Park at NGR SK321751 on Far Lane beside Allen Wood. This is just west of Rumbling Street Farm. The parking location and the whole walk is on the 1.25,000 White Peak map.
The parking area is away from any houses and is extensive so we can pick our teams on the day. Do you prefer to walk clockwise or anticlockwise?
