    Given the new 3 tier Covid system I have had to re-plan my walk for next Sunday.Rather than the Kinder area it will now be exploring some familiar areas in the Rivlin and some less familiar areas above Damflask and the upper Loxley valleys.
    Meet at the car park by Redmires Reservoir ( G.R.256857) at 0930.Sorry about the early start,but the C.P. is likely to be busy.
    The route will lead down past the Headstone & cross the A57 before climbing up to Crawshaw Lodge .A further climb then leads over the ridge with a descent through pretty Royd’s Clough to Calker Lane above Damflask. The lane leads to Hall Broom Farm after which a network of paths,woods & farms lead through the upper Loxley valley back to the ridge above Rivlin.
    Paths & tracks then lead down to the Rivlin dams from where the path past the Headstone is accessed and the start by Redmires then reached.
    Distance 10.5 miles approx.
    Hope to see members from the tier 3 area on Sunday.(Please book through the web site or by email/Whats App.}

    Quite right about car parking. Never seen so many cars parked, right on the boundary, as today. Practically parking in ditches etc.
