As you probably know, Dave and I are also members of a Glasgow based Mountaineering and Hill Walking club (the Glenmore club). The club has several spaces left for its new year meet which is at Loch Ness Hostel (used to be called Glen Urquhart Lodge) http://bcclochnesshostel.co.uk/index.html, Glen Urquhart IV63 6TN. Dates: Tuesday 30th December 2014 -Saturday 3rd January 2015
Cost: £80 for the 4 nightsThe Glenmore burb on this meet says: “There are lots of Munros and Corbetts in the area … . Glen Affric, Glen Cannich and Glen Strathfarrar are easily accessible with numerous hills to climb, and there are low-level walks in the unlikely event of bad weather.”
The Glenmores cordially invite Castle members along. Dave and I are going so it would be great if some of you could come too.
