Harpur Hill, for those that do not know, is a predominantly sport climbing venue close to Buxton. There are over 280 sports and 60 trad routes with lots of F5s and F6s.
Andrew is injured so Linda and I will be leading the meet. We plan to park in the industrial estate (SK 057707) shown as ‘Karting’
on the OS 1.25000 map. Parking is limited and there are other options.
We aim to start on the Upper Tier Poised Block/ Papacy Buttress areas from 10.30. but may need to move to other sectors if this area is cold.
The forecast is good but the quarries are exposed and some areas face north or north west, so bring some warm clothes.
