The main issues arising from the meeting were as follows –
A draft of the Strategic Plan for 2020/24 was discussed. This will embrace several Strategic Themes, namely –
Membership engagement, service and support
Access, conservation and environmental sustainability
Education, inspiration and skills
Leadership and organisational development
Competitions, talented athletes and the GB Teams.The BMC wish to encourage as many members to complete their Participation Survey. It takes only a few minutes (Google – Participation Survey BMC)
The next Stanage Forum meeting will take place in Hathersage Methodist Church Hall S32 1BB on Saturday 26th October from 2pm. Learn about what’s been happening in 2019 regarding Ring Ouzels, North Lees Hall, Cruck Barn Archaeology Project and plans for the Estate in 2020.
The next Peak Area meeting will be on the 27th Nov. at the Maynard Arms, Grindleford and will include the AGM.
