Some CMC members may remember the Castlehub website which
was used for conversations between Club members e.g. meet
details and reports, before the current Message Board came
along about 5 years ago. It was set up in 2006, I think by
Rob Pasley, as a Yahoo Groups site. It is still there:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/castlehub/
but you have to be a member of the group to access it.
There is an awful lot of Club history there, including
photographs. Now Yahoo have announced that it will be
deleting all the content of all Yahoo Groups on 14th
December this year. See their announcement:

In theory everything on there should be (or once have been)
somewhere else, and most of it is pretty ephemeral anyway,
but if anyone wants to make sure any of the content there is
saved, they should download it before that date. I will try
to download all the old Thursday Walk reports, and perhaps
some of the other meet reports too. Perhaps one of the
Club’s photographers who has access to the group, might want
to check through the photos on the site (posted between
2006 and 2014) to see if any should be saved.Best Regards, Andy
