The normal Thursday walks have a holiday in August so I am proposing alternative walks for 3 of the Thursdays in August ie 6th, 20th and 27th. (Linda has previously posted her linear walk on 13th August.)
These walks will be different in that they will start at 10am and be short, 3-5miles long, so should be finished by lunchtime.
If anyone would like to organise one of these, feel free – otherwise I am happy to do so.
First walk as follows.
Thur 6th August walk – meet upper Burbage bridge car park GR260829 for 10am start for approx. 4.5mile walk across Hathersage Moor and Whim wood.
Hope lots of you can make it.
